He works in all genres but is drawn towards writing tentpole action screenplays.  He also recently wrote the lyrics and script for a musical heist thriller Fiestaval, to be shot in Chile in 2014.  When he’s not writing action movies he’s often helping out with his wife Dorrie’s  thriving pet care business and a variety of happy pets.  You can visit him at www.touchwoodpicturesltd.com

Jimmy Bromberg was born and raised in Santa Monica, California. After graduating from the University of Washington, Jimmy returned home and completed the year-long UCLA Professional Program in Screenwriting, where he wrote two screenplays, one of which was Giving Up Girls. Jimmy has written several screenplays in the past few years, including the romantic comedy, Textbook Love, a winner of the Script Savvy Screenplay Competition and the action/thriller, Dealers, which has been a finalist in a number of screenplay contests. In addition, Jimmy's screenplay Enemies Closer, an action/thriller he co-wrote with his brother was recently bought and produced by After Dark Films and is slated to be released in the fall of 2013. Jimmy currently works as a 7th grade history teacher in Santa Monica and last summer had the opportunity to teach screenwriting to middle school students, something he hopes to do again in the future.
