is diagnosed with Lupus. She comes across a starved, abused Thoroughbred in a 
horse rescue and in the process of saving the mare, she finds the strength to 
persevere through the symptoms of her own illness until she manages to obtain 
the new treatment/cure that she can't afford in America, in Ireland.
